Since joining Fujifilm Process Automation, a big task was to clean up the website and get it finally bringing in some leads.

Firstly, having knowledge of our solutions and key point of differences was paramount. Then I got stuck in working on page speed, tidying up small issues like empty alt-tags, missing headers, incorrect structure and large DOM loads. Then came the SEO work, compiling a list of keywords and phrases we wanted to appear for, and using my copywriting skills to incorporate these on pages, articles and FAQ sections.

Changing our tone-of-voice and the design style of the site helped grow our appeal to New Zealand businesses. As a result, we saw a huge uptake in New Zealand users, keywords we rank for, engagement time and pages per visit. Since August 2021:

NZ Users increased from 36% to 85%.

Keywords we rank for increased from 74 to 460.

Daily user average (non ad traffic), 8 to 46.

Average engagement time, 21s to 1m 28s.
