• Dec 2020 - Current | The Occasion Co. NZ - Creative Director
  My partner and I launched The Occasion Co. in late 2020 as a home-based laser engraving business. We began during New Zealand's first lockdown, conducting competitor and cost analysis and researching products and equipment.
  
  I created our brand and custom Shopify website, focusing on SEO and improving our Google rank. Amy manages daily operations, while I handle digital ads in my spare time. Despite the steep learning curve, we hit our 6-month sales target in the first month.
  
  We now rank on the first page of Google for 75% of our products, and in 1st position for 25% of those. Giving us consistent orders and the ability to introduce new products to our growing list of customers.

• Dec 2014 - Aug 2021 | Orangebox Ltd - Designer/Programmer
  Since joining Orangebox, I've expanded my role from communications programmer to sole designer/digital guru. I handle all graphic design, internal marketing, and multi-channel digital campaigns, achieving high ROI and winning three Gold Pride In Print awards.
  
  I’ve transformed our digital marketing, increasing from ad-hoc campaigns to fully automated ones using Mindfire Marketing Studio. During my time there I oversaw an 800% increase in marketing emails and landing pages for clients.
  
  I’ve built and maintained B2C and B2B sites using Pressero, managing user groups, products, SEO, and pricing. I also assist with data work, business operations, and tight turnaround campaigns.

  I started at The Anton Group as a trainee and secured a full-time role in three months due to my programming skills. I used PReS, Cygnus, and Printnet Inspire for data management and document prep, handling up to 28 million mail packs.
  
  A major project I led was managing 120 million Kenyan Election ballots, including data work and document composition for over 2,000 councillors.
